Did w7r3 this morning, took it steady and loved it!! Will be meeting Julie next time, or so I am led to believe! So exciting I feel I should dress up!

Have a 3k fun run Sunday morning then am travelling to singapore on Monday for a couple of days, so won't be able to do w8r1 until Wednesday morning local time. Can't wait! Not looking forward to the heat and humidity, so will be going out as early as I can! Will do my best to have a swim when I get there on Tuesday, don't want to have a complete rest!!!! I hope things are going equally well for my fellow week 7-ers!!! Keep on running all, it's worth it when you stop! πŸ™Œ

Well done you! Julie eh? I have fallen behind you a bit after a rather dangerous game of it with my kids, but back out running again now. Try and enjoy the heat, take it slow and steady and you'll get there - make sure you're well hydrated after your flight and due to the heat. I have 3 months of running in temperatures around the 30 degrees mark ahead, let us know how it goes!

Will do, thanks Reidy! Have been reminded that running on a treadmill is also allowed (didn't think of that!!) So will be taking that easier option!! Don't like the sound of your games of it though!! Sounds brutal!!!!!

Well done. Julie is (IMHO) fantastically awful but there is no accounting for taste.

Run on the gym treadmill if you can in Singapore or, at the very least, at night. Running in 32 degree temperatures with that humidity is brutal.

Oh yes! I didn't think of the treadmill (doh!!!!!!) I was going to try to get up really really early and do it!!!! Air conditioned gym sounds much more sensible!!! (Bear of little brain here! I was even trying to figure out a route from my hotel where i wouldn't need to stop at a pedestrian crossing every 5 minutes!) 😱😱😱😱😱😱

Hi Sandirm, I'm in the middle of W7, doing 6 not 3 runs each 'week' (long story) so a bit behind you, but well done on getting to Week 8! Exciting stuff at this end of the programme. Only 16 more runs for me til I'm done!
