Had a great start to Bank Holiday Monday. Mrs GF has been running 3 times a week on the sly when she claimed to have been walking Rico since March. So today she let me tag along. We walked up to the woods and then she set off like a bullet. I ran behind so that she could set her own pace. Little did I realise that she would be so speedy. We had a short stop when Rico stopped to eat a campers recycled tea from last night and I had to drag him away. We finished in style running fast up hill through the woods. 4k in 32 mins which is a great pace considering the stop for Rico.
I am so proud of how far Mrs GF has come in such a short time. She didn't want to do C25K but it provided the inspiration for her to do her own thing. I am looking forward to more runs with her and Rico.
My 18 year old Daughter is running regularly too so I think we will have to have a summer fun run in Yosemite when we are there on our holidays.
Thanks to all you lovely people and to our NHS for creating C25K. This is the best programme ever and it changes so many lives.
Happy Bank Holiday all!

Wow! That's brilliant!!! What a star she is! And what a super fit family you will be. It is great this isn't it. My hubby has ran with me a few times now and it's lovely. He's booked a birthday surprise for me somewhere tomorrow and told me to bring my trainers as there will be somewhere nice to run!!!! Great to do something healthy together. You are so right. This really does change lives. Tell the Mrs well done!!!!
That's great and what a lovely family day for you all. I'm sure Rico enjoyed it as well even if you did take him away from his find. 😃. A run in Yosemite sounds fantastic. That will have to be a picture for us to look at please. Happy running to you all.
Great stuff GF!!! So pleased that you can all run together now, Rico too! If you run together as a pack regularly you're all more likely to keep doing it .
