Had a great Run Walk with Rico this morning. The ground was frosty and the sun was coming up. No pace settings, no times in mind just run when I wanted and walk when I wanted. Rico had the odd diversion chasing deer and racing pheasants which gave me some down time. It was beautiful this morning. Just loved it. 7k in an hour overall. Now if I can just sort my calf out all will be right with the world.
Good Luck in your park runs and runs this weekend

Your calf is probably indicative of running a bit too hard too much. Your training and race will have caused it and now you may need a wind down period
My left calf is making itself known but it seems ok on rest day
Sounds like a great run and love the pictures!! That sky is amazing! (how do you put your picci's as a collage???? is it an app?) It's lovely to just go out and enjoy running isn't it without pressure!! What it's all about. hope your calf improves soon. Be careful. Don't get on that injury couch.
What a beautiful time/place for a run! My family have just got a new dog and I haven't taken him out for a run yet. He's very good walking on and off lead but he's a bit older and I'm not sure how good he is at running (not that I'm very fast to be fair!) Our last dog was very fast right into his old age and loved going for long runs!
Ours is 4 this year and he doesn't keep up when I run fast but runs quicker than I can after the wildlife I'm lucky as I have him off the lead when running
Oh just lovely, I bet you're enjoying just running for the joy of it after all your training. Enjoy it while you can, I bet it won't be long before you're in training for another race....xx
