Completed this run at 0620 this morning. Ran for the full 30 minutes and was slightly disappointed to find out after I had finished that I was 170 metres short of 5k in the 30 minutes. I will try and push a little harder on Saturday for my graduation run. Having said that who would of thought that a fat, bald, old duffer like me could actually run for that amount of time, I certainly didn't think it possible 10 weeks ago (had a weeks setback through a sore Achilles).

I think to be doing so close to 5k is actually really good! Although the the program is called C25k it is actually about running for 30 mins, and we will all vary in how much ground we cover in the time. hope you make your target on the next run!

I was pretty surprised that I was that close to be honest, I have never tried to push the pace just concentrated more on being able to complete the run. Let's hope the sun is shining on Saturday!

Well done Mat.

Enjoy your graduation run. The 5k in 30 minutes will come soon enough.
