I didn't go out intending to buy new running shoes. I actually went to Sheffield to see The Full Monty on stage. Before that we went to an Italian for lunch and consumed prosecco and white wine.
Then we called into the running shop and I spotted that they did gait analysis. Rather entertaining running on a treadmill after a bottle of wine!
But I'm really happy with the shoes - I changed into them in the train home. And it didn't feel quite so much money for a pair of trainers when you're a little bit tiddly!

I got my shoes at a shop like that, and they showed me a novel way of doing them up which make tightening them correctly mush easier. I dont have a photo, but basically you make a loop each side by not crossing the laces over the final time between the two top holes, then passing the ends of each lace through the opposite loop. It worked for me so I just thought I would mention it.
