I don't need new shoes

At least not for ages now.

My "old" shoes still have at least 6 months life in them. So I didn't need new ones anyway!!

But who can resist the bargains of TKMaxx? £39.99 for Brooks running shoes - amazing.

(I went in to buy a dog dish, but somehow ended up in the shoes. Didn't get the dog dish, but did get new trainers, sports socks & a brilliant wee water bottle that fits in the palm of your hand!)

I'll keep them in the cupboard until I really do need them.

(Maybe!)

These are my running shoes too, such a bargain! Do you buy a bigger size than you wear in normal shoes? I bought half a size bigger and they feel pretty comfy but never know what the "right" thing to do is.....

Happy running!!

I love Brooks!

My first pair was after I got my gait analysis done & out of all I tried on, the Brooks were my favourite. I needed to go a full size bigger in them.

I always rotate my shoes so have at least two pairs on the go and then you stand more chance of spotting another bargain, rather than having to buy new because old ones are knackered.

What a good idea & excuse to start wearing them!

It also reduces potential aches and pains from suddenly transitioning to different support.

That sounds like one of my shopping trips - though I haven't yet bought running shoes on impulse! My Brooks will soon be a year old so I guess I should start looking for bargains! I'd want to run a new pair in before the old ones wear out, sounds like good advice.

Well worth keeping an eye in TKMaxx, or the great place for bargains is GO Outdoors.

Excellent bargain, I think I need to keep my eyes out in TKMaxx shoe section - I usually just amble round the kitchen stuff. Enjoy running in them. x

In all my times of keeping an eye out this is the first time they had anything suitable in my size. Often good stuff in the smaller sizes.

Keep an eye on their running gear too - I've picked up some great bargains there. (Ronhill capris for £10, RAB Marino wool tops for £15 etc)

Kiddo run in Brooks, he loves them. How is the dog coping without the promised dish? You could always innovate and put the food in your old trainers :)

I didn't tell him I was looking for a new dish for him, so it's ok he doesn't know. 😉 Though to be honest he would wolf his off the floor or anything for that matter!
