Timed 12min run

That was hard, but had to be done. I'm following a plan and today that called for a timed interval run for 12mins to see how far you could go. I've been sleeping badly the past few nights because of work and a really nasty phonecall from a colleague, (he's meant to be a professional!!) and although I'm man enough for the job it's invading my sleep time! It's raining this morning and gusty and I can't tell you how difficult I found it today to get motivated, but you'll have all been there at one time or another I'm sure!! Anyway I gave myself a stern talking to in the car and I went on and did it- and I know you guys will understand the sense of achievement from completing a target!! Oh and a personal best over a mile, 25secs quicker than last time so that's not to be sneezed at either!! happy running wherever you are, hope we get a few dry days soon......

Great stuff! Running will clear your head nicely. Stuff the nasty bloke! You can mentally duff him up while you run. There take that you git! Punch him in the head for me while you're at it. 'ark at me. I'm not aggressive at all in real life (oh no I'm not) but sometimes you need to vent don't you. Running helps with that as you can put all that pent up energy and frustration into it. Don't overdo it though! LOL

Timed runs, out and back from your front door if you like, are a good idea. I like em!
