Well it certainly is, I finished, I've graduated, and with a new pb! I decided to give it my all today, and go out with a bang . My fellow runners, new comers, and countrymen...."Do NOT under estimate the power of a hill!". Flippin hell, It completely knocked the wind out of me. Took me a good few minutes to get my breathing back under control (sometimes you just have to love traffic lights ) and run normal again. Other than that no major hiccups, the usaul speedy gonzales Saul!
It's been an emotional journey for me and on the way met new people and found a great community, with great folk, who genuinely are out there to support you positively with no recourse.
I'd like to thank you all for all the support and advise you have given me over the time. If anyone needs any help/advise from me, please feel free to pm me or put up a post.
Hell just put up a post so we can all stop by, say hello and have a cuppa.☺
Alas for the very last time (as a novice I will add my stats! ( yes you read it right)

Oooooo look at our spangly new grad badges!!!!! So exciting! I'm going to run along the beach (on concrete) if the weather is good on Sunday. I always see people doing it and been envious! Now I can! Whooop! x
Well done, amazing I'm somewhat restricted with my running because of the winter air and my asthma but have returned to it in the gym on a treadmill, I'm back up to 20 mins now and feeling accomplished so you must be feeling woohoo!
Thank you. I think the winter air has helped out in a way, the program would have certainly been different in the summer weather. The longer runs would certainly be different case.
Yeh feeling quite chuffed tbh, complete opposite to what the legs are feeling this morning 😂😂
It certainly is a new beginning. I have my 5k run to look forward to in March, and then maybe progressing onto 10K by summer. Well that's the plan anyhow☺.
Speedy Gonzalez indeed!!! Howzat for a graduation run ?! Really enjoyed following you and Elsie through the programme. Life long runners now eh? Good work Saul
Arriba! Arriba! Andale Arriba! Thank you boptillyoudrop. Graduated as a runner! Even though Julie didn't turn up (think she's defected to the private sector..😅😅) , I'm sure everyone will still be seeing me around here for a while.
