WK5R1 Podcast runs timed shorter ?

Hi all, I’ve just switched today from the app to the podcasts, mainly because I wanted the music and had heard that the encouraging Laura was giving people the will the complete longer runs ! ( I need all the help I can get) 😂 I noticed that the 5 minute run seemed very quick at first compared to how it felt in the app , so I timed the second (supposedly 5 minutes again) with my watch. It was only 3 minutes ! Has anyone else noticed this ? I don’t know whether to switch back now as most of you on here seem to recommend the podcasts.

My podcasts in 2015 were all the right length ? Some may have seemed longer... :) Just run with what you feel is right for you..many of us love Laura... she is sooooo encouraging :)

That seems very weird, I run on a treadmill because of injury and the times always seems to match up. Are you sure you checked your watch accurately?

Trying checking to see if the playback speed on your podcast app is greater than 1X. Some apps have a feature that cuts out silences etc. which would also reduce the length of time the podcast runs.

You have the speed of the podcast turned up 😳 There is a little circle thing which should indicate a speed of 1, if not turn it down to 1.

thanks everyone, I DID indeed have the speed turned up ! Going to be a shock when I repeat the run now though 😂
