Laura said I'm a runner!

When I discovered this program, I didn't really hold out much hope for me. I knew it was designed for people who were complete beginners but I considered myself in a whole league below the complete beginners.

It was with apprehension that I set out tonight on my first 25 minute run. I have no idea what happened but it was the first run I had where everything felt like it clicked into place. My pace was steady and comfortable, my breathing was good, my legs didn't hurt. I felt like a runner. I felt so proud and happy I could have cried!

So, I'm mainly posting this not as a brag (although I still have the grin plastered across my face!) but as an encouragement to those who, like me, think they can't, because they really really can!

And now I have a grin plastered across my face too from reading your post! I did that run on Saturday and it was my favourite one so far. :-) And it wasn't a fluke either because I ran for 25 minutes again today to start Week 7!

WE ARE RUNNERS! (And like you, I thought I was different from all the others and I'd never be able to keep this up). This programme is like magic.

It's great when it all comes together and you even FEEL like a runner. Well done !

I love to hear that others are ahead of me and achieving the runs that, to me, still feel a little out of reach. It encourages me to feel that I will get there too!

Really well done and thanks for sharing.

This is inspiring, thank you for bragging! I love success stories like this, especially as I'm due to do W4R1 tomorrow and I'm bricking it!

Well done, it's inspirational to hear how well you've done from complete beginner to "a runner". I'm such a novice at this, but enjoying it so far. Just can't imagine running for 25 mins non stop. But watch this space!

Yippeeeeee!! Isn't it the most amazing thing? To go from never running to being able to run 20, 25 and 30 minutes? Brag away!!! Sing and shout, tell us all we will listen and understand the smugness of it all :) in a nice way of course :) well done !!!
