All I feel is exhausted!! I thought I would brave the "feeling silly" gremlins tonight and go run on our seafront prom. I thought it might be more breezy, (it wasn't!) less hay-fevery, (it wasn't!) and more pretty, and therefore distracting, for this 25 min slog (it was a beautiful kind of hazy sun). It was my first time seeing other runners on this programme, I've not avoided them, just not really come across them- I'm sure I passed a few other c25k'ers frantically checking their phones too, and a few uber-fit sprinters bounding on past. For the first time I only measured the time/distance on the running part today too, I've absolutely nothing to compare it to but was chuffed to bits to do 3.35km, but all I could think for the second half of the route was how good the fish n chips smelt that were everywhere!! π

Ahh I think the smell of fish and chips was your body telling you earned them! You did fab, chuffed for you too. 3.35 km all under you own steam running no wonder you're exhausted. Fresh sea air, fish and chip scent and that distance, you'll sleep like a baby tonight π
God I hope so, all this thinking about running is keeping me awake lol!
... and you are... a runner Well done you!
You are on the way, getting closer and looking good.. slow and steady... and ready for the last few laps!
I can smell that sea air... and the fish and chips too
Well done you deserve some of those fish and chipsπ
I need to find some running leggings with a zip pocket for my car-key, I discovered, if I'm going to drive to my run again, and maybe a sneaky fiver to buy chips afterwards π
I like your thinking....π
You may have found it difficult but it wasn't boring, at least you had plenty to keep your mind busy. Why would you even consider undoing all your hard work with a greasy calorific portion of fish and chips!
Yes plenty to see, including about 400 motorbikers (no kidding) on the green opposite the prom- definitely overcoming the running where no one can see obstacles. As for the chips, I don't even really like them, they just smelt so good in situ, but I was good, I came home and had banana, water and cherries π
Well done - you are indeed a runner!
Believe Laura when she tells you you're a runner..its a fist pump moment. Well done feeling silly. It is hard work running in this heat, but you ran for 25 mins. it doesn't matter how slowly you go, just do the time...π you are doing great. Keep going.x
Well done She said I was a proper runner today and it feels fab doesn't it?!
