Graduation is on the horizon

Week 8 last run completed today, which means eeeeek week 9, three runs of 30 minutes and you know what after making me get up waaaay too early in the morning, for making me wear lyrca in fluorescent pink, for scrapping half my knee off, making me run in rain, gale force winds and blazing sunshine, buy proper trail running trainers, and made me think about buying shorts and make me like running as a sport, I am sooooo going to graduate ..... I'm sure all the good folks on the forum will be glad too so I'm not nipping their heads being accountable for my training runs no more .... This time next week I shall of done the C25K πŸ˜‹

  • Ah, but there is so much more to running than just C25K once you graduate - after all, you wouldn't want all that lycra to go to waste!

  • Oh no I'm certainly not going to give up running, I'm going to graduate, get a comfortable pace for a 5k then work towards the 10k, again once I'm comfortable may work towards a HM, really do like the challenge, and if I don't feel like a challenge just go out and run .... It's what I'm always telling my five kids, get your selfs out and run about have fun!

  • Well done Xsmokey. I will hopefully graduate the same week as you. You can do it πŸ‘

  • Not long to go now m'dear. Enjoy every one of those w9 runs, they're your stepping stones to the next stage in your running adventure. :)

  • I hope it's the start of running rather than the end! Well done.

  • Hooray! Good luck :-)
