I completed C25K towards the end of 2012 just in time for the 5k run I had booked. I thought I would just continue running but I found that without the challenge of something to run towards I made excuses not to run although I continued to go to the gym.
I restarted the program a few times during 2013 but never managed more than a few weeks.
So this year I have booked myself a 10k run in May (first date that coincides with a day off on the weekend) and strapped on my running shoes. I have completed W3R1 and 2 this week, one more to go. It didnt feel too bad. I really enjoyed them too which annoys me that I didnt have the discipline to keep it up but I think I must be someone that needs a goal to work towards. Fingers crossed!

I have volunteered a couple of times. My nearest one is very fast and I know it shouldnt matter but I would come last! I plan to get back up.to speed then look for a slightly slower one otherwise I think it would knock my confidence, silly as that sounds!
I've had a Fitbit since August and have found it so motivating. I aim at 10,000 steps a day and 5 miles so with three runs a week those days are taken care of and I walk the other days. I have the cheapest one, the Zip, and I wear it 24/7.
Sounds like me. Did the plan in the lead up to a 5k Race for Life I had signed up for. Then, once I completed the plan and the race, I lost all motivation. But 2014 is the year that I will regain my motivation, and so far so good. Starting week 3 tomorrow and feel really great that I've got off my (now somewhat larger) rear end in a bit for a healthier lifestyle! To everyone else reading this - keep up the good work
