You sound like you have the right level of determination It can take a while before something becomes a habit so do not despair. And we're all different. Some days I''m chomping at the bit to get out and other times I go because it's what I do. Strangely those latter runs are often the best. Go figure!
You can do a lot of small things that help your motivation, such as getting your kit ready in advance, all ready to change into, and treats ready for when you get back (hot water on for a bath, cold glass of water in the fridge, nice banana, yogurts, juice etc.) I find all these small things really help. Also changing your route can help. If you're going to the same park everytime, maybe try a different direction/park/paths, use it as a way to explore your area. I try to think about the swans and boats I get to look at on my route, rather than how much running I'll have to do!
But you are doing it regardless! It's hard. I never used to enjoy the actual runs but felt a great sense of achievement afterwards. It takes a while for the enjoyment to kick in, but stick with it - it's so worth it!
