Hi all I graduated this morning - hurrah! It was very windy and hard going. Half way through I managed to switch my Ipod off and I didn't want to stop to see what I'd done so carried on using my Garmin (Mr G) for timing. I run alongside a beach on the Gower peninsula and the wind was whipping the sand into my face - I'm covered in it now - it's in my hair, stuck to my skin and in my clothes LOL! How I didn't get any in my eyes I don't know!
Despite the conditions according to Mr G I went further and faster than I've ever done before - double hurrah! I'm so pleased that I've managed to graduate - it's taken me 13 weeks and I've had my hiccups along the way. Thank you lovely running peeps for the support you've given me at key points along the way. The only downside is that I didn't complete 5k and didn't get to say goodbye to Laura, but I'm still well chuffed. I love this feeling - triple hurrah!

Ah the joys of running along beaches - mine has 58 mph winds this morning - I sometimes think of just running one way and then getting someone to pick me up in a car for the return - suspect it would be a PB.
And now without further ado and loud applause - Congratulations and welcome to the Graduate Common Room - Well done - claim your badge and if you are lucky a coconut :))
Yes! Fantastic Krupskaya. You should feel very proud of what you've done. Don't worry about the 5K as you can work on that now and you can still listen to Laura on the Speed and Stamina podcasts. Enjoy the rest of your day and revel in your achievement.
