This morning was really hard- much harder than I remember the first run this week being. Could it just be that I was more tired, or that today had some slight slopes? Should I do this run again before moving on to week 3?

It could be both together! You did it, so I would say you move to the next week and see what the next run feels like. Good luck!

well done for sticking with it and finishing. You've done week 2 now so I'd move on.

How fast are you running? Someone on here told me to slow down, so I did and it worked. Not that it was a breeze, but it was doable.

It does get harder but then you have days when it all seems to fit into place. Yep -inclines are killers but such good training. Move onto week 3 and slow down if you need to. Pace comes later.

Not all runs feel the same, the next run will probably go really well for you, take it slowly if you start to feel uncomfortable but the main thing is to enjoy what your doing. Move up to the next level and give it try, keep smiling and happy running. 😊

Some days are just better than others.

As others have said, move on to week 3 and just take it as slow and steady as you can.

Week 6 is tough and then it's over. Move on, go nice and steady. Slowly does it and you'll be fine

Have faith in yourself and the programme. You can do this. Have fun! Smile and go ......

Not all runs feel the same - geography, temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction all play a part as does your own body and mind. If you completed the run, move on, if not, repeat it, seems the best general advice. The next run will probably be great! I hope so!

Thank you all for the encouragement! I'm going to start week three tomorrow morning. I don't have a clue how fast I've been running, although I'm sure that only one or two brief spurts could be called running rather than jogging, but I'm definitely going to go slow, particularly since my run will again include gradients, any of which are unusual for me!
