Treadmill interval run after ultrasound. Saw the physio again yesterday. Another 5 sessions /weeks to go. Her magic hands have rubbed away the pain (or was it the ultrasound?). I'm still doing lots of stetching, RICE and balancing on one leg at work which looks a bit strange, even more so if I go up on tiptoes. Such fun.

I have to say it is working. I think I managed 5k in under 30 mins doing intervals on the treadmill. I think the deck must be really cushioned as my garmin couldn't detect my ground contact time. Managed a sprint at 8mph and my leg feels so good it is lovely.

Work is still manic and I'm off to Bonny Scotland on Friday for a week so will take my kit and hope to get a few runs by the seaside (maybe even an annual game of golf).

Happy Running all. Love the tags below

GF haven't heard from you for ages. Great news that you are on the mend and gradually leaving the old IC. Got a mental image of you in work standing on one leg and on tippy toes. Hope you told them your physio told you to do it. Right.

Welcome back and enjoy Scotland.

Your run pattern looks wierd, all blocky. Did you notice it?

Yes running on a treadmill makes speed changes really fast so it appears blocky
