Having managed the 20 minute run at the end of week 5 much better than I would have thought possible, I've been really tired out at the end of the first two runs of week 6. I've struggled to settle into a comfortable pace, and Endomondo tells me that I am running faster this week than before. I tried to run more slowly today - but it wasn't easy…I wonder if the week 6 music is at a faster tempo ??
Having read some of the week 6 posts, I think I'm going to try a different route for the 25 minute run. Any other suggestions gratefully received !

I found week 6 the hardest after the high of managing week 5 run 3!
I'd say take a different route to make I more interesting and make sure you've eaten enough and had enough to drink (not too soon before though!). Try and tell yourself you can do it and visualise how you'll feel having done it!
Great idea about changing your route to keep things fresh. Other than that, go as slowly as you think is possible and then slow down a bit more. W6 is a toughie but you've done all the preparation, so you're completely ready. Now go out there and enjoy yourself
Hi, did mine as part of first park run - I thought the change of route and atmosphere might help. will see tomorrow night, 1st of 3 25min runs this week, whether it was easier new route and morning than old route & evening... I find it takes me 7or 8 mins before I settle into my run but from then on it was reasonably ok... Trust the program good luck!
I'm hoping to go out and get run 3 week 6 done tomorrow. I totally agree that the 20 minute run was easier than these first two runs this week. Maybe it's like Laura said at the end of run 2 (well, what the app said), that finding the runs with a walk break in the middle harder than the 20 minutes means we've cracked it, and should find the next constant run better. Fingers crossed anyway. Well done getting this far, and good luck with the rest of the programme 👏
