I have looked back and the last run was 1st December, before viral illness, sore throat, then flu stopped me in my tracks. I was really apprehensive this morning, so I had in my mind I would do a 4k just to see how the legs and breathing cope. Must admit the hills were hard work today, but I managed my run and it turned out to be 7.5km rather than 4k. I wouldn't say it was easy by any means but the drizzle helped keep me cool.
here's to the next one on Wednesday I feel very positive and happy after the first run, long may it continue.
So its a good start to the New Year and hope to keep this up. Thanks for all the support from members of this group too. It really helps.
Am no longer relegated to the couch.

Illness, as my daughter would say, sucks. Then you go and take on hills. Hills, suck. Then you go and knock it out of the park by turning that see-how-it-goes 4k into 7.5k.
Burstcouch, there ain't no stoppin' you. You're on the comeback trail, official.
