Only 4 left to go!

Great run today and thanks for the words of encouragement after my not so brilliant experience last time. Pretty much did the same route but decided on sticking with no food before running and there were no dogs to trip me up I took a hat with me in case I had another hair curtain event but had no need as it was a head wind most of the way. Settled nicely into the run and enjoyed my surroundings Laura deserted me 10 minutes into the run but it didn't matter as we'd rediscovered an old stopwatch which I'd decided to try out today. Lucky I did really and instead of the 28 minutes I pushed on to do 30 and felt like I could have done more. So a happy run today and only 4 left to go until graduation!

That's good news, Hilly! And 30 minutes, too. You must feel a big sense of achievement. You do know, don't you, that if you hadn't taken the hat you'd have had the wind from a different direction?

It just had to be done after that last run. Needed that boost of confidence! And yes, I think I will take the hat again if only to keep the wind at bay

Certainly is. Should complete week 8 in time for Christmas and then I have to decide whether to start week 9 on Christmas Day or Boxing Day.
