Completed run 1 of week 3 wasn't bad at all but I would be interested to know how far other people travel while doing this according to endemondo I covered from start to finish 2.93 km

Hi I measured the route I did on week 1 and 2 and it was 4k but on wk 3 I finished at an earlier spot! Will measure wk 4 and see! It'll probably be about 1km I'm so slow :))

This is what I found I know I'm being cautious because of my old injury but at this rate I won't be moving at all by week 9

I cover about 3.5 km on week 3 run 1.

I didn't start counting distance till I got to week 7. It was achievement enough for me to keep going for the allotted time. But it worked anyway, and now I can do 5K in 42 mins, which may not sound very impressive, but it's brilliant for me.

You really don't need to worry about the distance covered while doing C25k, that's not the point, but it seems we all have a need to compare with others. The aim of the programme is to get you physically active for thirty minutes, with a raised heart rate, three times a week. Just achieving that target is doing your body a great many favours compared to inactivity. Certainly don't be put off by being slow or not covering the 5k distance, you will still be making yourself fitter and probably happier too.

Good luck.

That's fantastic well done I would love to be able to run 5k in any time at all really just wanted to see roughly where I was in relation to others

When I did the final 3 mins on Friday of week 3 I knew where I'd started and where I'd finished. Yesterday I measured it on Map My Walk whilst out walking my dogs and in 3 mins I'd run 0.57km. The reason I measured it is I feel I'm going too fast. I'm exhausting myself so it was useful for me to force me into pacing myself a bit more.

It's worked because I just did R1 Wk4 and I was so much happier.

Totally agree with Iannoda Truffe.....just getting out there is brilliant. He speaks lots of sense :))
