Hello everyone,

Just to say thank you to the NHS and Laura for the Couch to 5K podcasts, and that you can definitely complete the course. I did this morning, with Week 9 Run 3, and if I did, then so can you.

I had never run anywhere near as far in my life before - it just needs faith in Laura and the plan.

Well done NewRunnerToo. C25K and Laura are wonderful arent they :)

I'm on Week 7 (run 3 on Friday). I'm really confident now that I can complete the plan ( even if my current man flu may postpone things a few days !). The last 3 25mins runs have diffinately got easier and easier despite the man flu, so adding 2 or three minutes each week now is definately do able.

I too hadnt run since school (Im now 51 !). I was amased at how well this plan works for us newbies. It really does give you an incredible sense of achievement, and as nearly everyone says, I never thought I would find running to be fun :) but it is :) :) :)

The man flu kicked in on friday so, having stuck to the program rigidly until now, friday's run was postponed until this morning (saturday). I'm pleased to report that it went very well. It's my first run in daylight (9am rather than 6am). When Laura said 1 minute to go, I'd already passed where I'd reached on wednesdays run. So really looking forward to run 1 week 8, especially if the man flu has worn off.
