Hi all, I'm still working my way through the program and still outdoors at the moment! Although tonight will be my first run in total darkness, so need to stick to main streets... not sure how I feel about that as I do love the river walk
Anyway, I had booked Friday and Monday off this past weekend and spent Friday morning on a long run out with a friend. I managed 6km!! I then ran 0.5km walked 0.5km for the remainder. Unfortunately all of my technology failed on me in one way or another so I don't have a set record of what we did... it was around 11-12km in total! I was so pleased when I had finished I just need to finish the program (I think I'm on W8D3 next) but upping my kms as I have a 10.5km event on Nov 8th! I would like to run as much of it as I can, even I'm doing slow mileage!
Ooh I forgot to mention, I was manning a water point at the Chelmsford Marathon on Sunday (the first ever one!) and a guy did it in 2hr20! I was amazing by everyone running it, they all did brilliantly and I'm almost inspired to sign up for next years...
