well, haven't i done well!? got a gilet type reflective karrimor sleevless jacket 2 weeks ago in the Samaritans shop and today a karrimor dayglow vest in the Hospice shop! plus some long running tights and capri tights a while back! Hope everyone on the IOW is not giving up running!(not so from Parkrun and Running club attendance!) George wanted to be in on the photo opportunity! :)

Last little run later tonight then my Supersonic 10k in Bournemouth on Saturday! Off there tomorrow, wish me luck!! :) Might be rainy apparently, but never mind, sure it will be fun and i will get to run up the pier! that vibrant vest might get its !st outing! Plus have been naughty since its payday and treated myself to some Brooks Sherpa 6" shorts with built in undies! Very comfy!!! :) with 4 mini pockets!!!! :)

Cool thrifty bargains - good finds! Good luck on Saturday. It's gonna be wet and windy according to the forecast, so I hope that doesn't hinder you too much. Of course, if the wind is behind you, you really will be supersonic! I used to live near Bournemouth and I worked in the fabulous McCarthy & Stone building near the station - on the top floor in the directors' suite don'tyaknow - great views of the sea from there. Hope all goes well xxx

Celebrating was very tame. First alcohol in ages. It turns out I haven't missed it and didn't particularly enjoy it when I had it. Could this be a new me? Oh blimey ...

Above all have fun tomorrow x

I'll try! Feeling nervous a bit now! Karlotta is in same start colour section as me and with my bright vest wemight spot each other as racenumber has your full name on! Tho not ali boo70! I'm not much of a drinker either but might indulge a little if I get round ok! :)

I got a brand new still had tags on top today from my local charity shop (who buys a £45 top and never wears it!) I also got a brand new pair of trousers :) haven't found running kit though, either I'm not looking hard enough or no one runs round here

Ooh I love a bargain! Well done. All the best for tomorrow Ali I will be thinking of you. I keep checking the weather forecast and hoping that the wind will clear off! I hate parkrun when it's windy! X :-)

Thanks! Seems quite calm here and forecast ok, in a room near a noisy road so hope I sleep ok! Good luck for your parkrun too! :)

Great bargains! I'm running in the same race on Sat also! Which colour section are you in to start? I'm in Blue - I'll keep an eye out for that snazzy top!

Go C25k blue section! I estimated 1hr 10 mins so would be happy for that or under, might well bump into you then! :)
