Gosh can't believe it, I am now running for lengths of times which a while ago was completely unfathomable, I remember the burning chest and wheezing of week 1 run 1 now look at me. From now on I am on the long runs, that's right 25 mins next then 27 mins then 28 mins and then the holy land 30 mins. I decided that this will probably require a new route for me to follow so I have mapped out a 5km route so now even after Lucy stops I get used to the distance even if it's walking once she stops.
Week 6 run 2 completed: Gosh can't believe it, I... - Couch to 5K

LUCY????? Don't ever call a woman by another name !! Big mistake
But seriously - this revelation that you are having is actually quite common here I NEVER NEVER NEVER could run/jog/perambulate - call it what you like - any distance or time at all. But this morning, I ran an hour (7 klms) non-stop for the first time. . I think I must have been whisked away sometime ago in one of those Body Snatcher's spacecraft where they replaced my lungs and heart with someone elses - as an experiment. There is no other explanation for it!!
Congrats on your progress! I thought she was called Louise lol! This running stuff is quite amazing isn't it, I've been swimming for years but haven't seen half the improvement to my fitness as I've seen in a few weeks of running. Good idea to have your 5K mapped, great incentive!
Congratulations Inigma, there's no going back now Good luck on on your W6R3 run.
Great stuff! Happy running
