Good morning all, just completed run3 of week 2, as it was such a lovely morning decided to run at 6.30 instead of this evening. My question is as i found the last 90 seconds quite hard should i redo week 2 or try week 3.Should it feel easy ? or is it ok to feel it was a bit of an effort. ?.Grateful for any advice. jeni

No pain no gain. I would move on if I were you :)

Move on jeni. Keep your pace slow and steady and think of all the people who have gone before you. You absolutely can do it :)

Go for week 3 - it's only by stretching ourselves (a little) that we improve :) I've been reading a bit about the changes that happen to our bodies over time as we run. All sorts of weird things begin - capilliaries start to grow - lung efficiency improves - it's very impressive and it seems to happen best when we are pushing ourselves just a little. There are people with more experience and expertise who can tell us more but having read quite a few posts on here, it seems to work best just on the edge of our comfort zone.

If you have completed the run before, move on. It's always an effort !! and I would be very surprised if anyone thinks its easy, especially at this early stage when its all new for you and your body. Have faith, you can do it !
