After being struck down with brutal toothache on my rest day at the end of Wk6 last week, I've mostly been in bed resting my swollen face and popping painkillers for almost a week. Not fun. I managed to get to the dentist this morning and they've put me on antibiotics, which should get rid of the swelling and any pain I'm having.
It got to about 1pm today before I finally gave up on resting and got my trainers on. Difficult start, followed by a lot of huffing and puffing until I hit my stride, but I battled through it and soon I'd forgotten all about any swelling or pain.
Added bonus: I managed my fastest mile and km yet!
Feeling miles better for just getting out and going!

Fab - what a way to beat those toothache gremlins! Toothache is miserable and I'm pretty sure running is the last thing I'd have fancied! Well done you!
