OK so after a faulty week 9 two weeks ago where I just couldn't get past half way on the runs due to starting new job and other family stressors taking their toll..today I got up at 6 and completed my week 9 run 1. It was strange. I was worried having not run for two weeks but actually ran faster so when I got to the point where I'm usually around 25 minutes I was only at 21 aargh! Anyway. ..slowed down and carried on to the end and feeling pleased with myself. Also inspired this weekend by friends I've joined up for Bristols half marathon next year :-/ figure I've got plenty of time to work up to that and it will give me more goals which I always need. Graduated c25k, then manage a 5k then a 10 k then the half M...gulp :-)

Well done. Sometimes a bit of a lay off can turn out to be quite beneficial.

Only two more runs to graduation!

Good for you! Graduation soon! I run at 6am too, such a lovely time of the day. You are a braver soul than me...a half marathon! You are obviously determined so I am sure you will get there!

Thanks Kate. I hope so. Felt quite disheartened a few weeks ago when I seemed to have lost my mojo but going to try hard to get the other two done and dusted this week :-)

Glad it went well. That always gives you a boost. Maybe not think too hard about the long run ahead :-D
