Well am still off work due to car crash but feel I should try week 1 and see how it goes. Arm well on the way to being mended but muscles even less than I had before and hand cannot grip etc.But don't think it will effect my jogging. So am going to try. Will be later when I go out but will report back....wish me luck :0)

Good luck and sorry to hear you had a car crash :( sounds painful! Take it easy, I run with a chronic neck injury, it's about 70% better than it was when I injured it and short runs don't aggravate it so I say go with how you feel and if it hurts stop :)

Thanks..that reassures me.As long as I don't make things worse!

I'm not medically qualified but I suggest you get the all clear from your GP before you consider running. You could make things worse and recovery might be longer. Better to be safe. The hand not being able to grip may be spinal cord related????

Good luck if you do decide to run. I do tend to agree with Jenson that getting the ok from your GP cannot hurt.

Hmmm have first appt with physio tomorrow so perhaps I should wait and ask his advice...

Definitely ask the physio, mine gave me the ok, even said the endorphins would help :) putting it off 24hrs won't hurt.
