Completed week 1 yesterday, found it very hard ,I am an ex smoker of 7 months and no real exercise for numerous years, Had been walking approx 5km a day for about 2 months before starting C25K . not sure if I should move onto Week 2 or redo Week1 ?

I am just about to start W2. Found W1 hard but did manage to run all the minutes so am going to try week 2 and if I cant do all the runs on the first one keep repeating it until I can. You never know whether you can do it until you try! Good Luck and enjoy it.

Congrats on starting.

If you completed week 1 - move on to week 2. Don't be afraid of taking the next step.

Move it on up!

Honestly you will be surprised how the plan develops you without you realising!

I am still a smoker (sssh don't tell anyone)

I'm naturally cutting down for the first time in 24 years and am now sailing into wk 5!

You're ready you just dont know it yet!

Well done on completing week 1. Personally I would move on to week 2 and give it a go. If you struggle then you can always redo a run but you'll probably surprise yourself what you can do so give it a go :)

If you completed week 1 properly, then you are ready to move on to week 2. You have already improved your fitness so you will meet the challenge in week 2. Trust in the plan. I say a challenge, because each week you will be challenging yourself and before you know it, the challenge and the goal becomes addictive. Each week, as you get better, stronger, fitter, you will notice your recovery is quicker and you are ready to tackle the next challenge.

Each stage progressively pushes you. I found every week hard but I never gave up. Do the same and you may surprise yourself by what you achieve!!
