Saturday morning and just finished week 6 run 3 and feel great, another official runner! I was getting a bit worked up before the run but once I got going it went so quickly, still on the treadmill and covered 3.4k including the walking at the start and finish, I even managed to step the speed up for the last 2 minutes and I am feeling great. I notice that my recovery time is getting quicker as well so bring on week 7. Must get something proper to drink out of, my granddaughters pink sippy cup is starting to look silly!! New Pegasus 31 running shoes are great, if you don’t have proper running shoes try to get some, they make a lot of difference. My wife has just said run Forest run, Tom Hanks in Forest Gump.

Well done! You have shoes you can move it outside! It's great out there, scenery flashing by and so does the run. Over and done with before you know it, rather than grinding it out on a dreadmill

I have Pegasus shoes too! Bit flashy mind you but I got matching duds so it all looks the part

Hi MissWobble, what are duds?

Duds = kit, as in matching running clothes :)

Thank you, I've never heard that before. I asked hubby but he didn't know either.

I will get to the great outdoors eventually, guess if I decide to do some 5k's I have to leave the treadmill behind! They are a bit flashy, they asked if I was worried about the colour of the shoes, I said no until I saw some of them, wow, you need sun glasses!

Yay! Well done! I am still on the treadmill and like you, am going to wait until I graduate to venture outdoors! But nervous about it and don't want anything to spoil what I'm doing now!!!!

Outside is real! All of life unfolding as you run. It's invigorating and it keeps you motivated

Flashy running shoes! Yay. I love em They make you run faster. It's a fact!

(no it's not, I made that up)
