Today (about 5 minutes ago) I completed week 9 run 1 and although I am triumphant at getting this far, the last 2 runs have been soooo much harder! I don't understand why - it's not my fitness, I think it's psychological?! Anyone experienced this ? I'm so close but suddenly it seems so hard!

Snap! Exactly the same feelings here. I finished w9r1 about half an hour ago and I burst into tears when I got home. The last two runs really hard. I agree with you -it must be psychological as we are so nearly complete.
How weird is that?! I thought I'd feel so happy to have got this far, but instead am dreading the next one - I haven't felt like this until now! I don't want to dread it!!!
Yes, I want to want to too!! Maybe one of the wise old birds on here will come up with an explanation. Good luck anyway with the next two runs. You know we will manage it even if we do dread it!
Don't worry. That happens. You have good runs and then for no reason, awful runs. Happens to us all. Don't dread you next run, look forward to it. It will click into place again for you. I too found it tough going, but the last 2 runs on the plan were great.
When I graduated I found it really hard to run for 30 mins. It just takes practice and training. Well done for your great success so far. Almost there.👍
It took me about 3 weeks to complete week 9. I don't know why but I got there in the end and so will you. Just keep going - you can do this and it will get better.
I found exactly the same with wk8 run2! I had to fight gremlins as soon as I woke up and all the way through the run. The next run was so much better.
I am doing wk9 r1 tomorrow morning. I am trying to think positively!
I think you will both be fine for your next two runs, Buttonmoon88 and Lizzylobdob ! Have faith! You will both be graduating very soon and hopefully so will I! Exciting!
Thank you guys! I do really love it (which feels so strange for someone who always said they hated running). I intend on this being a lifestyle change and therefore not just concentrating on the next two runs (although it will be awesome to say I completed C25K!) xx
