Don't worry. It will pass. You start out gaining weight as you over compensate for the 30 second run you just had. Or was that just me? I stopped doing it though when I realised I was getting heavier, which was not the plan at all! So, I don't have anything unless I'm doing a 10 k or longer and then I have a home made energy bar when I get home
Don't worry Teabreaks, things will sort themselves out. As you find running less strenuous you won't need to eat afterwards. Nothing wrong with a banana mind you, if you feel you simply must have something
I was advised to drink plenty of water and have a small snack, fruit or energy bar, straight after a jog/run and nothing else for at least 20 minutes. this helped stop me feeling I could eat the whole kitchen!
