Wow I got the right pace at last.

I was out early this morning my usual time just before 5am. The weather was 38°C, windy and also sandy. This was the beginning of my second week after graduation of C25K. I said to myself nothing is going to stop me from running after having two days of good rest. I selected stepping stone from the running podcasts for C25K graduates from my mp3 and off I went. Throughout the run for the first time I managed to find the right pace, not slow and not first just the right comfortable speed. I just loved it. I was tempted to do more but then remembered my experience last week and thought let me end it at 30 minutes comfortably. I would like to remain here for about eight weeks before attempting to move on and improve my speed.

I also managed to do full blood tests last week and found big improvement on the results. Cholesterol (LDL cholesterol) levels have dropped but the good cholesterol (HDL cholesterol) has increased. Blood sugar levels have also gone down to the lower side within the range. All other related results are normal. Has anyone out there done blood tests to compare results before and after C25K? I was very pleased with the results. The HR is also stabilising during the runs now. My weight dropped from 70kgs to 68kgs this happen just in the past 4 WKS.

Sounds like you had a great run and found a nice pace you are comfortable with. Also great to hear of your health improvements.
