W6 r3 a success at last!

So, after about 5 attempts I can now definitely say that I have completed it properly. I was starting to think that I was never going to run for the full 25 minutes without stopping as I had numerous attempts with various results.

As half term was cropping up I decided to leave the running for just over a week and give my body a break (as well as my frustration levels). Today was my first day back running and I slightly tweaked my route so that I didn't meet my nemesis (the bus stop) before I was too tired as I always seem to think I can't go past without a break.

I managed to continue past it and was so proud of myself. No I can truly look to consolidate that 25 minutes in week 7, phew!

The bus stop nemesis! That was good thinking there. It's amazing how our subconscious can thwart our plans with something as simple isn't it. Well done on fooling that 'time for a breather' gremlin! And well done on 25 minutes. All consolidation from here. You'll be sporting that graduation badge before you know it :)

I thought the exact same thing when I first started. Trust the programme, it truly works as you will physically be able to do it. For me, achieving 25 minutes has been a mental challenge hence a slight route change.

Well done. Sometimes a few extra days off does wonders, as do new routes. I had a bus stop when I was doing the program that I had a heckuva time getting past as well. All about tricking the brain.
