Tomorrow morning I will have another go at using the Stamina C25K+ podcast -- but I have increased the tempo of the music by 6% to speed up the BPM of the music a tad. -- used the (free) Audacity programme on my PC to do it - very simple job really.

That turned out well. The original Stamina podcast has music at 158, 160 and 165 BPM . Increasing it by 6% took it to approx 167,170 and 175 BPM which suited me much better - much more comfortable for me to run at those beats. Coincidentally my average pace at these increased cadences improved by 1 minute per klm - at, as far as I could observe, the same level of physical effort.

Next week I will do these two podcasts again (original and increased) using the "RUNZI" App to see which has the highest physical impact upon my body. I am betting it will be the slower of the two podcasts
