Yeah, my hubby and I completed W3R1 today too !! Was wary of it but felt really good !! Am sort of dreading W£R2 as I have found that the second run seems to be the one that I find the hardest, but having said that, I'm looking forward to it too!!
Will be doing w3r2 this evening. Fingers crossed for us all !
Well we had W3R2 this evening and although it seemed tougher than W3R1 we did it ! Pleased with ourselves and beginning to feel that we are getting fitter
It went really well, thanks, even though it was raining !! Will be starting week 4 on Tuesday. If you feel you need to repeat week 3 then go for it, it's not a race, and you're more likely to succeed if you do it at a pace that's right for you
Aw glad it went so well for you ! We'll be having a go this evening after work ! Will let you know how we do. Am actually looking forward to it but just a tad wary
I felt the same I must admit, I will say I think you'll be made up once its done. If you guys feel half as good as it got me feeling. You'll be rearing to go again. take it easy though! And listen out for the "you've walked for more than you've run" part I guarantee you'll be high five'n one another
Well done! One time its good to say told you so keep up the good work speak to yas on the next update sorry its a bit late but I've just got in from work. I guess that's shift work for ya.
Pete and I completed W4R3 Saturday and I wasn't too bad but Pete found it quite hard as he' not been too well. He's going to try W5R1 and see how it goes but if he finds it too much he'll stick at W4 for a few runs. Hope you 're doing ok
Hi, glad you're ok. I completed W5R3 last night and am well chuffed !! Couldn't believe I did it! Sadly Pete is having to take a couple of weeks off jogging due to a bad ankle and knee so is just walking but he hopes to resume the C25K once he's recovered. It's getting quite serious now, isn't it? lol
Aw well done !! Glad it went well. I did W6R1 but found it harder than W5R3 but have read on here that this happens quite often. I think because of W5R3 being a "biggie" I probably started off too fast as the first run was only five minutes ! Hope the next one is better !! Pete is banned for a while, he has Plantar fasciitis (a bad foot) and it could take up to six weeks to get better!
Soon as poss! Well done to you for keeping going through w6r1 I'm sure it will go well on the next one! Have the faith keep me informed and most of all enjoy it!.
Hi did W6R2 last night but only just managed it. I was stupid and went to a new exercise class the night before (Metafit, really hard work!) and every muscle aches so much I can hardly walk !! So I think I probably jogged the same pace I did on W1 !! but I did finish it. Hope it's still going well for you!
Morning & Good for you on getting through it. well done.
As for myself its going really well did w6r1 yesterday once again did some extra & covered 4.8 mile with walking and everything! But I think I'll knock the adding a bit on, on the head as I don't want to risk getting some form of injury!! But I'll see how I feel at the time? Keep at your doing really well after all! Hope Pete is on the mend? Do you think hell get back into it? Let's hope so. take it easy and speak to you soon.
Hi hope it's all good for you ! I did the 25 minute run W6R3 today and am well pleased with myself ! Was still really aching from Wednesdays exercise class so it was slower than usual but I finished it ! Pete will get back into the jogging once he's finished treatment. The physio said it could take up to six weeks so he's got to be patient.
