Im currenyly enjoin our first abroad family holiday & takin advantage of the all inclusiveness ;-) before I left I had repeated wk 8 as id struggled with it the previous wk. Im now after any advice as to what I should do when I return home at wkend? Do I begin again on wk 8 or go bk even further?! Thanks x

If it were me, I'd try week 8 and see how I felt. If horrible I'd go back a week, if manageable I'd repeat, and if I came out thinking 'I can do this' I'd move on to week 9. It's said you don't lose much fitness in a week, but I found it tough Saturday and last night to get back running after a 2 week illness. I'm just easing back gently into it

Try week 8 and see how you get on. Finishing it (struggle or not) means success! I found that at then end of the program the runs didn't seem to be getting easier, because you were constantly building on what you'd done. Even graduation they don't seem easy most of the time. I certainly appreciate a good running day, but it's always a great feeling when any run is finished.

Good luck, let us know how it goes!

No retreat no surrender! You've come this far which means you can and will do it! Carry on where you left off. You'll be fine - just be positive. Use the same route you used last time - you already know you can do it, so just do it again.

So much of this is inside our heads. If you warm up properly, your body will be ready. Just get your head in gear before you go and you'll be fine.

If it were me Id just go out and run, if you run for 25 minutes, well thats week6, if you can push further and feel ok, thats brilliant, and week 7, if you can only manage 20 minutes, then you will know where abouts you are, does that make sense ? From their on listen to your body and take it from there.

I agree with Grannyjudes. If it was me I would forget Laura for the first run, take it easy and see how long I could run. It could also be the extra rest will make the next run easier!

Whatever you decide, enjoy your run!
