Tomorrow's (I mean today's) Run seems unlikely.

Because i am up at this time of night baking cookies for a bake sale i forgot i promised. They are British/American gingerbread men as i hadn't enough golden syrup for the British recipe, nor molasses (not exactly treacle, but close) for the American recipe. So, i used everything i had.

These have to be at school a half mile that way ----> before 10 a.m. meanwhile, we have to be at Kelvin Meadows a mile this way <------- ay 11 a.m. Or a bit before, for the Katie Morag highland games, a kids fun fair type thing. Both events are part of the West End Festival, a thing we have heard about all year. I thought it was a weekend event, but it goes on all month. Seems to be a combination of arts exhibits and performances, and opportunities for groups in the area to raise funds via fetes, cake bake sales, etc. (both these things tomorrow are fundraising fun) . And it all bumps into various Commonwealth games events this year too.

So, here we are, settling into our almost one year old new life, purchasing a flat of our very own is underway (there is a closing date!) and my health and shape and stamina are slowly improving.
