Day 1 of Week 9 today. So pleased to have reached this point. I ran (slowly) for the whole 30 minutes and actually enjoyed it. I found a pace that worked and it seemed to 'flow', running was almost mechanical, in a good way.

When I started this programme I couldn't complete all the run parts of week 1 and had to walk for the last three. I did week 1 for three weeks running... By carrying on with the programme, and not looking too far ahead, just working at the week I was on I trusted that that week would be achievable, and they were. Two more runs and I will have my graduate badge. Maybe a park run in February...

I feel very proud of myself as I have always previously loathed running and only started this because I knew that I needed to do something and it was a cheaper option than gym membership, plus there are few people around at 6 a.m. on a winter's morning to see you huff and puff.

If you are on week 1 or thinking of starting c25k give it a go, it works. :-)

You have come a long way - very encouraging from the perspective of end of week 2. Good to hear that the graduation week runs can actually be enjoyable!

AMAZING! So very proud of you and all you have achieved! Drinks are chilling so we can have a Grad party!!!!!! :-) We used the same approach as you, to take each run individually so as not to become overwhelmed and quit. I tried to reason running being a cheaper form of exercise, but my pile of running goodies have proved me wrong!! :-) looking forward to your Grad blog!!! Gayle

Enjoy the last couple of runs of the program and then get that wonderful "Graduate" badge!!
