Good grief! I just finished week 5 run 3...and I can't quite believe it!

I actually jogged for 20 minutes without stopping. I was really daunted by this run and woke up about 3 times during the night to check whether it was time to get up and whether it was still raining. The prospect of 20 minutes of running had me spooked, and it's been 4 days since I did week 5 run 2 (on account of self doubt and rain). By the time I got to the last 2 minutes, I was little more than shuffling, but I did it! So pleased :-)

It's a great feeling isn't it? Get ready for week 6 as it's more challenging than you might think x

Fantastic, Helen. Well done. I've just completed the 20 min run myself (tues) and I was a little nervousness about it. Onwards and upwards for us both :)

Congratulations! I'm on week 4 so the 20 minute run is not too far on the horizon! Reading your post and others like it are very inspirational! Thank you for sharing :-)

Thanks kickibro and paul2014. It is a great feeling, but as you say Paul, onwards and upwards!!

Well done - that 20 minute run is a major milestone (both mental and physical). Slow and steady for next week - you're over half way there now! Your badge is being prepared... It's so pleasing to read about everyone's successes (the first success being starting the programme in the first place)... I think it's fantastic reading about everyone's running adventures (and misadventures) on this forum and the positivity and happiness everyone seems to find in the programme is great...

Happy running and enjoy (but respect) Week 6... :)

Thanks aussiegtc. I feel so much more confident about facing week 6 knowing that I made it this far. Though certainly, it won't be a pushover.
