Well I'm not such a misery tonight after having had a lovely swim in our brilliant new pool today. So there is life after being told no running by Physio. Hopefully this ruling will not be for too long once the PF settles down.
So will wish you all a happy Bank Holiday weekend and happy running too.

Glad you had a good swim Oldgirl! Makes up for things a bit I suppose. Keep your chin up! x
Good for you enjoying a swim and what a lovely pool. It's making me fancy a swim now - haven't been for years! I hope your injury gets sorted out soon and you can start running again. Good luck and best wishes.
This is the smaller of the two pools, 25m long but adjustable floor so goes from 1.3m deep to 5m there is never any chance of me jumping or diving off that high platform I can assure you. Will post a pic of the 50m pool its amazing. Will have to do it on separate post though as I can't add another pic to this. Will get a swim in 50m pool on Monday.
I use to dive off anything when I was a kid, no matter how high. I had to dive or jump off as I was too scared to climb back down. Happy days. You are lucky to have such a fab pool
I used to be able to go up onto high diving boards as a kid but these days I seem to get a touch of vertigo so I wouldn't be able to get to the edge unless I was on my hands and knees, not very dignified
It's strange how that happens isn't it. I had to walk over a bridge over a main road the other day, and it had a scarily low barrier, and I was really nervous all the way across. I'd run across it in the dark, with the running group, and hadn't really noticed it at all, but in daylight woah!
Swimming is really good for training and increasing our lung capacity too, so you will feel the neither when you get out on the road again! Enjoy - it looks fab. Not sure about hose fishing rods on he left.
