Didn't run for an hour today...

... because I finished 10km in 58 mins 53 seconds! :)

Well, due to a technical hitch it was actually 10.27 km.

Between 1km and 9km I thought I could just keep going for ever. Obviously not really "for ever", but I think I was in what is known as "the zone". I felt fine in the last km, but I think I was just thinking a bit too much about just finishing that last km.

Beautiful warm sunny day - ran down on the sea front and it was lovely running along an almost flat route.

I would sooooo love to reach that "zone" moment. But well done on your brilliant time. Sounds like you had a glorious place to run too.

Thanks. I'm sure you'll hit the zone. I didn't really have an aim in mind, just a "long" run (and it's been a couple of weeks since I built up to an hour and I only did that once), so I was feeling quite relaxed and just wanted to know if I could keep running for about an hour.

And I have to say the location really helped. City on one side (albeit just 2 blocks away from site of recent bomb), sea on the other, and mountains in the distance (which should be snow capped at the moment, but it's melted so they aren't) - and not a shop window in sight (or at least, not one close enough to give me a reflection).

Nice time that man! I want to try a 10k run on the level, and not off road, just to see what I am capable of, without hills, mud and ****ing gates.

Keep running, keep smiling.

"Woman"!!

Running on the level is highly recommended for a change.

No worries! I'll take it as a compliment that you assumed I was male from the time ;)

That would be patronising. It's a damn good time for anyone!

Well done. Wow. I'm yet to reach that zone, not even for 5 mins! The sea front sounds perfect.
