Just completed week 9 run 2 and now sitting here (post stretching of course ) just revelling in the past few weeks, looking at the muscles in my calves, thinking about the 6 kilos I've lost and how fantastic I feel.
This programme has been one of the best things I've ever undertaken.
IT WORKS!
Just one more run for me until I can claim my graduation badge. I'm so excited about that. In some ways I shall be sad to have finished the 9 weeks, but as there are countless steps and programmes to be taken, I need not let that bother me. Plus I've got a 5k in June (race for life) to aim at.
So, a nice rest day (or possibly 2, just so I can stretch it out a bit!) then I'm on the home straight with that badge in sight.
Good luck to everyone else on their last few runs this week (seems to be quite a few of us)

Well done - you seem to be just flying through it on winged heels, wish I were loving it as much. I am continuing to find it really tough but there is a masochistic satisfaction about getting there. I will start week 9 on Sunday; before then I have the luxury of a whole two days off, Hooray. Have a great third run.
Well done on your last but one run. So close now so make sure you keep your Captain Sensible hat on - as misswobble says..no dramas please. Enjoy your rest day (or two) and good luck with your graduation run. Best wishes.
