I am thinking of myself more and more as an actual runner, how crazy is that.
I am still recovering after completing wk5 and I know that going out would be counter productive but I can't help feeling really disappointed. I know my body is not happy with me as after the last run of week 5 it saw me back into bed with sore throat (my ME throws these at me as a little reminder) and headache. Saturday was another day of retreating to bed when being upright became intolerable and Sunday I probably pushed myself a little too much my Dad is visiting for Easter and I took him to see something he has wanted to visit in a long time.
I have a job interview this week and I need to be on top form and awake so I have planned this as a full rest week but still I am disappointed.
I don't know what the future will hold but I am determined to finish this and I know that I want to continue running even if that means i can only go out once a week for 15 minutes or whatever. My little broken body and me are going to come to some kind of agreement we have a while to decide on the terms.

It's restorative on so many levels isn't it, that you hadn't thought of when you started out. That's what I've found anyway. Good for relaxing, thinking space, enjoying the scenery, gettting to know your own area in depth, makes you sleep better, makes you think more about the food you eat - or don't eat! OK so it might make you ache a bit but that's telling you either you did too much or your body is rebelling at the new exercise.
While-ever running makes you happy, and you can do it, then you keep going Spoonie. Good luck with it, oh and the interview as well
Sounds to me like you are doing brilliantly in difficult circumstances! You have obviously come a long way already and it seems like you have the mental ability to carry it right through to the end.
Apply that strength to your interview and you will walk it..........or should that be run It!
Best of luck with the interview and the running will still be there when you are feeling better
sounds like you are doing brilliantly, and good that you understand your body so well to know when to back off ( and when to push it too???). All the very best for your job interview
Nothing crazy about it - you ARE an actual runner. Well done on getting so far in such difficult circumstances. You will complete this programme - you are being wise to listen to your body and go at your own pace. Good luck with the next run and my best wishes.
