I went out this morning and did W6R1...it was awful. Just as I was getting into my stride Laura would tell me to stop!!
I'm looking forward to the fact that I only have one more 'interupted run'. I felt strong during my 20 minute run last week so hopefully it's just the stopping and starting rather than not being capable of it after all!!
Happy Sunday everyone! Yummy roast!! x x

You are sounding very confident Samla...well done, seems like there is no stopping you now. It is good to know that you have the strength to go the distance, keep up the hard work, oh and enjoy your roast!!
I felt exactly the same! (and couldn't believe I was thinking it either!) I found it a lot easier to do the uninterrupted runs and get into a rhythm and much preferred the final weeks of the programme for that reason. Good luck with working towards your green badge
Week 6 often causes this problem. I found trying to start up after I had stopped a lot harder in week 6. Really does push you at the end of the week for the longer runs. Good luck your well on your way
I'm starting Week 6 tomorrow and just posted a blog about how I'm feeling and then read you were feeling exactly the same way. We'll do it, Samla. Hope your roasties were crisp and fluffy.
I think that you are exactly right about how hard it is to start and stop once you have found your stride!! It makes me wonder though, if that isn't exactly what is causing our bodies to improve. Is that what teaches our bodies how to recover? Just a thought.
