Thank you to all who post on this forum as it helped me to achieve this as I doubted I could. It just shows this works. On to week 6!

Well done trixiebelle. That is truly superb. Here's my tip for Week 6 that I give EVERYONE! Make sure you treat Week 6 with respect. The joyous feeling of W5R3 can make a lot of folk (including me) feel that they can now run ANY distance for whatever length of time. Not so!! Take W6 gently and steadily and you will keep that fabulous feeling of accomplishment going for many more weeks!

Well done. the forum is a great support. I wish you well for next week.

Thanks guys! Advice duly noted. I will take each run as it comes. I surprised myself today by how calm I was, I just let it happen. Struggled with the ten minute mark but it passed. Great feeling!

I echo Dan here. I was so elated after doing a 20 min run and thought going into week 6 with intervals run/walk again would be a piece of cake - and that was despite the warning. I really struggled with run 1 of week 6, far more so than run 3 of week 5. I think I was

unprepared for the fact that running regardless of the duration is energetic. I will never underestimate the effort required again :D

Well done on achieving your 20 min run. It's taken hard work and determination to get this far. Congratulations. It gets better and better :)

Thank you kickibro, I've stuck to the programme pretty strictly and it's served me well. I cannot believe what I did today really, just a few weeks ago a minute was daunting! I'm aching now though so not planning to run w6r1 until Tuesday. Take it easy. Thanks for the support from all x

Well done on completing week 5. Good luck with week 6 and I echo Dan - it's very easy to get caught out by week 6. Best wishes.

Thanks fitmo

Congratulations and well done! Best of luck for week 6. I'm just behind you and attempting w5r3 on Wed. :-)

Thanks didelphnaar, I just did W6 R1, and it was ok! You can do the w5r3 on Weds, just believe it and keep reading the advice from others. We can do it!!
