Well .. I have completed my first week, 3 runs done. However I can't imagine being able to run for longer than 60 secs!! Seems a long way away! Any tips for week 2 from you pro's out there?

Finished my first week!

Trust the programme. If you managed the 60 second runs, you'll manage the 90 second runs. Works for most people
Just remember: slow and steady.

Agree with above post! You aren't running a race, you are getting your body used to running. Enjoy it

You will be fine, as others say on here, just go steady, pace yourself. The programme works. Well done for completing Week 1. x

Take each run, each week, as it comes. Slow and steady is key. Don't try to get ahead of yourself!
Do that and you'll be fine

all of the above. Well done for getting to the end of week 1. It's a brilliant programme, don't try to rush, take the rest days, and just put one foot in front of the other. Before you know it, you'll be a graduate

Take your time, repeat weeks where necessary and be pleased with your achievement. Enjoy.

Remember the reasons why I am doing this helps keep me motivated and for me being motivated helps me to push myself when I feel like walking as the run, be it 60 secs, 90 secs, or 3 mins etc., comes to the end. I push through the point where i want to stop knowing that I can do it even if its tough. Those 60 secs feel like forever at the beginning but as you move to week 2, those 60 secs feel easy and the 90 secs feel like forever. Then as you get to the 3rd week those previous 90 sec runs seem easy and so on and so on you go - all the way to the end.
You can do it!

When you feel like you can't run any more, know that in just 10 seconds Laura will tell you to walk
