It wasn't pretty, it was downright ugly; I was knackered and gasping like a fish out of water in the last 5 minutes in complete contrast to my serene Wk9 Run2. However who cares? I did it!
Reasons to be grateful to this forum:-
1. Leading me to M&S no VPL knickers.
2. Warning me off running consecutive days early enough for me to mend my ways before getting an injury.
3. Counselling me to ignore pace and focus on endurance (I occasionally lapse on this, sorry, but I know it's right).
4. Leading me to my Garmin watch.
5. Leading me to compression tights.
6. Making me laugh.
7. Picking me up after crap runs.
8. Patting me on the back after those rare great runs.
9. Giving me the belief that my lardy arse and I really could run for 30 minutes by the end of the program.
NHS C25K thank you.

I got some Skins, reduced from eBay. They still weren't cheap but they do feel good. They have a very sophisticated sizing system and range which is brilliant if you are a non-standard size or shape. I'm just under 5ft so lots of stuff is all wrong on me.
Fantastic! Well done! I read with interest re no vpl and and compression tights? The glamour of it, but yes, how good it is for our arses Enjoy your glory! x
Fantastic! Well done Zizzy. You've always been a few runs ahead of me so It's been great seeing you progress. I love your list, I'm going to go off and look some of them up (not the knickers though). Enjoy the new running challenges and the badge.
Well done and congratulations. Enjoy your post graduate running. Best wishes.
