Got through W4R1 thanks to this forum

(First post) When heading off for the first run of Week 4 I felt heart-poundingly nervous. I mean 2 lots of 5 minutes continuous running???? Forget the 20 or 30 minutes in a few weeks time; this seemed like an impossible task. However I kept repeating to myself all the lovely encouragement I see people post on this forum, such as Go Slow and This App Builds You Up for each week. Thanks to that, I was able to steady my nerves...keep the faith...and just go for it. Sure enough the 2 lots of 5 minutes were doable! Thank you to this community and also Jo Wiley!!

It's better than you think.

Each Week 4 outing see you running (jogging I hope!) for a total of 16 (SIXTEEN) minutes.

16 minutes!

Just keep that in mind as you carry on Week 4 and head into Week 5 ...

And Week 3's runs were a total of 9 minutes... so that's a 75% increase. That's the biggest increase in the whole program. Week 4 is *very* important ...
